Our position
Tell us and we will fix it.
This is a small studio, not a company with an accessibility department. Nobody here will be offended if you point out a problem — it is the only way we find out.
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. That is the standard most commonly referenced in the United States, and it is the one this site is measured against.
We are describing an aim, not claiming a certificate. No independent audit has been carried out. What follows is an honest account of what has been done and what has not.
In place
How the site is built.

It works without a mouse. Every link, button and form field can be reached with the Tab key, in the order it appears on screen. The item you are on is marked with a visible outline. A “Skip to content” link is the first thing you reach on every page.

Text contrast is measured, not estimated. Every text colour on this site has been checked against the background behind it and meets the WCAG AA ratio. Body text is never set below 17px.

Motion can be turned off. If your device is set to reduce motion, the animations on this site do not run at all — the page loads in its finished state rather than playing a faster version.

It works without JavaScript. All text and images are in the page itself. If scripts are blocked or fail to load, you lose the animation and nothing else.

Photographs carry descriptions. Every image has alternative text for screen readers. Every form field has a label attached to it.

It reflows on a phone. The layout adapts down to small screens without side-to-side scrolling, and text can be enlarged by zooming without content being cut off.
Known limits
What we have not done.
Listing these is more useful to you than claiming they do not exist.
- The site has not been tested with a screen reader by someone who uses one daily. It has been built to the standard, but built-to-standard and tested-in-practice are not the same thing.
- Some pages link out to services we do not control — the booking calendar, Google Maps, and our social media pages. Their accessibility is theirs, not ours.
- No formal third-party accessibility audit has been commissioned.
Visiting
Coming to the studio.
Fittings involve standing, turning, and steps up onto a platform. None of that is fixed in stone. If you need to sit for the fitting, need extra time, need a companion in the room, or need us to come out to the car, say so when you book and we will plan for it.
Telling us in advance is better than arriving and hoping. A 30-minute appointment can be made longer if we know beforehand.
Copy needed — physical access details
Is the studio entrance step-free, and is there a lift or ramp from the parking area?
Is there accessible parking close to the door, and is the fitting room wide enough for a wheelchair to turn?
Is there an accessible restroom on the floor?
These are the questions people actually call to ask. Answering them here removes a phone call for them and for you. Until they are answered this block stays visible, because guessing at step-free access is exactly the kind of detail someone discovers is wrong when they are already parked outside.
