Before the fitting
What to bring, and what to expect.
Knowing this in advance keeps your fitting on schedule and your alterations accurate.
The rules
Studio policy
These apply to every fitting, bridal and otherwise. If anything here is a problem, call the studio before you book and we will tell you what is possible.

Bring your bra, slip and shoes. For all fittings, brides must bring the ones they will be wearing on the day. We are not able to lend these at the studio.

Payment is due in full at the first fitting.

Please arrive on time. Due to demand we may need to reschedule if you are more than 15 minutes late.

Collect within 30 days. Completed alterations must be tried on and picked up at your scheduled appointment. We are not responsible for garments left beyond 30 days.

Changes after the first fitting. Additional charges apply for changes in weight, undergarments or shoes that affect the original alterations. Rush work, where we can accommodate it, carries a fee.
Copy needed — policy gaps
Is there a deposit, or is the full amount always taken at the first fitting?
What is the cancellation and no-show policy for a booked fitting?
Is there a rush fee schedule that can be published, rather than “carries a fee”?
